The Bee Services Sustainability Plan 2025 highlights how we are integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles throughout our operations. We are now empowering our team to start driving implementation and securing positive impacts through a prestigious training programme. Bee Services Key Account Manager Raenuka Sharma-Johal has enrolled on the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management (PIEMA) to build the knowledge and skills needed for the next stage in our sustainability journey.

For 40 years, Bee Services has built a reputation for excellence in commercial cleaning and facilities management. We are determined to continue that success by serving the triple bottom line of people, profit and planet. Working alongside our consultancy partner, Raenuka will take the lead in setting goals, delivering initiatives set out in our action plan and driving continuous improvement across our value chain.

The PIEMA qualification is a globally respected accreditation from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). The course is designed to develop professionals leading environmental and sustainability agendas. The programme consists of three in-depth modules, covering the fundamentals of sustainability, environmental legislation and regulation and tools, strategies for environmental management.

Raenuka has just started her first week of the programme in which she is exploring sustainability principles, business responsibilities, and international frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

By completing this programme, Raenuka will gain the expertise required to translate sustainability principles into practical actions, ensuring that Bee Services not only meets compliance obligations but also establishes industry-leading sustainability standards.

Raenuka said:” We have established a clear roadmap for meeting our sustainability goals and I am excited about boosting my delivery skillset through PIEMA. There are so many opportunities not only to manage our own impacts but to help clients meet their ESG objectives. This qualification will empower me to maximise outcomes and ensure Bee Services takes great strides as a responsible business.”

Sustainability is no longer an optional commitment—it is an essential part of how businesses operate, innovate, and grow. Bee Services recognises that demonstrating sustainability credentials is now a key requirement for businesses responding to regulatory pressures, stakeholder expectations, and emerging market opportunities. By developing sustainable leadership skills, we are helping build resilience and secure better outcomes for all.
